Kilmore West: (An Choill Mhor Thiar, meaning ‘Big Forest West’) is a locality within Dublin 5, situated on Dublins Northside Ireland. Located in the Dublin 5 district it borders Santry, Beaumont, Artane and Coolock. It is part of the larger Kilmore area.
Kilmore West has National schools for both boys and girls, Scoil Fhursa and Scoil Ide, respectively.
Scoil Fhursa is an all-boys Catholic national school based in the centre of Kilmore West. It was established in the late 1960’s and had an enrolment at the time for over 880 boys. Today, class sizes are smaller. With class size ratio 20:1 and a current enrolment of 208.
